It’s NAB time again and right on cue DJI have released another drone. This time it’s the Matrice 600, powerful enough to get your cinemas camera flying at Mach 4 right over head (well at least within the law).

Insert required DJI spec blurb now…
The Matrice 600 (M600) is DJI’s new flying platform designed for professional aerial photography and industrial applications. It is built to closely integrate with a host of powerful DJI technologies, including the A3 flight controller, Lightbridge 2 transmission system, Intelligent Batteries and Battery Management system, for maximum performance and quick setup.

The M600 has access to more blinking satellites than you can poke a stick at. It can do programmable moves and the access to satellites makes it extremely accurate. The flexibility of the platform means you can shoot your aerial scene with the new Ronin-MX attached, and then quickly move the MX to a Handheld rig for a different set up.

Depending on your setup flight time ranges from 16min to 40min and will cost around $7899 AUS and if you want the Ronin-MX the price jumps to $10,299 and you can bet you’ll need your certification for this one because there’s no way it’s under 2Kg.
