TOUCH THE SKY

Touch The Sky is a documentary series that follows several women overcoming barriers and getting to where they want to be…. flying. Women often make better pilots, so why are only 5% of pilot’s female, and only 1.4% of captains are female? Touch The Sky, follows eight (8) women from different backgrounds across Australia. 

LOSS OF CONTROL

Every year in sport and general aviation, loss of control events are the single most significant contributor to serious and fatal aircraft accidents.
The series explores where loss of control occurs, talking to real pilots, subject matter experts, and delving into the situations and how to avoid these types of accidents.

FADING SANDS

Fading Sands is a documentary exploring the effects of climate change in the Pacific on the communities of Solomon Islands. Told through the  lived experiences of local Elders who have seen first hand the devastating effects on their homes and islands, and backed up by expert testimony from climate scientists, this documentary shines a light on the effects climate change.

THE AVIATOR

Bob Tait OAM is an aviation legend and Hall of Fame inductee. He has been instrumental in the successful journey of thousands of pilots who have used his material to pass their exams. Bob takes one last journey in this documentary as he obtains his recreational pilot certificate.

OUTBACK AVIATORS

This documentary series follows Stephen and Shannon, both pilots who have decided to participate in an air race from Brisbane to Broome raising money for the RFDS. While other teams have had two years to prepare, they have two months. 

TAKING FLIGHT

What does it take to become a pilot? That is the question a Brisbane film director asks himself as he pursues his recreational pilot certificate to overcome his fear of flying. Told through a 22 part series set in a flight school (GoFly Aviation) on the Sunshine Coast.

“The Aviator” is a heartwarming documentary film that follows the story of Bob Tait, an aviation legend who has spent a lifetime teaching others how to fly. The film chronicles Bob’s journey as he obtainS his Recreational Pilot Certificate. Along the way, we see Bob’s dedication and passion for aviation, as well as the impact he has had on generations of pilots. Through stunning aerial footage and intimate interviews, “The Aviator” celebrates the spirit of flight and the enduring legacy of one of aviation’s greatest legends.

TOUCH THE SKY is a documentary series that follows women from different backgrounds across Australia. Mothers, daughters, influencers, and refugees share what it takes to overcome internal expectations and external pressures to take to the skies. Some are just beginning, others are further along, but all want to encourage more female participation in an industry they have come to love.
